My Experience of Christ in the Church
I was regenerated with a living hope in the spring of 1983. From there I went on to find more of this immeasurable Christ. I went through all kinds of books and such to find more of Christ. I didn't realize at the time that I was like a babe in Christ, searching for more nourishment.
Soon I prayed that the Lord Jesus would make the group I was meeting with like the church in Philadelphia (Rev. 3:7-13). Instead the Lord Jesus led me to the local church, the church in Odessa. My joy at finding the church was like the joy I experienced at regeneration. Soon I had found several Biblical truths in the ministry of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee, which strengthened me and delivered me from being tossed about in life's waters.
I had never seen so many truths of the gospel until I found the local church. I'm so glad to have been led to this ministry which has opened up so much Bible truth to me. The meetings of the church are so full of Christ that it fills my spirit to overflowing. Amen.
